The “SUB,” so nicknamed by the students, serves as the “living room” of campus, a place where everyone can go for fun, work and opportunity.

PRIDE Employees of the Month – April
Congratulations to Vivian Player and Jenna Hunt on being chosen as the PRIDE Employees of the Month for April.
Vivian Player has done an exceptional job this semester. With her co-worker out on medical leave, Vivian had to take on additional work. Vivian managed to coordinate her normal events, take on additional ones, manage additional phone calls and walk-in traffic, in addition to training our new student employee. Her events went smoothly and she received positive feedback from several of her clients. April is by far the busiest month for Conference Services so Vivian’s additional efforts were much needed and appreciated.
I would like to nominate Jenna Hunt from the Info Desk. Jenna has been working at the Info Desk for 3+ years and even though this is her last semester, she still works just as hard as she did the first day she was hired. She is great with customers, wonderful in handling promotions shown around the SUB on our digital screens, and awesome at managing staff at the desk. She is long overdue for this recognition and deserves it for all the effort she puts into her job as one of the friendly faces of the Student Union Building.

PRIDE Employees of the Month-February
Congratulations to Ben Jones and Dallas Pullen on being chosen as the PRIDE Employees of the Month for February.
Ben Jones has been instrumental in helping us with coverage at the Stueckle Sky Center. He routinely flexes his schedule in order to help cover night and weekend events. Whether it is coming in early to open up or staying late to button up Ben always keeps a friendly and respectful demeanor while working with our clients and their various wants and needs. In addition to helping with the Stueckle Sky Center, Ben has worked extremely hard here at the SUB setting up for events and helping keep the Student Union clean.
Dallas Pullen has really stepped up to meet the challenges of a very busy spring season at the SUB. As a Union Manager she is often working during some of the busiest evenings and weekends for events in the building and at the Stueckle Sky Center. She has a lot of energy and pays attention to all of the “parts and pieces” of our conference services and our facility cleaning and care. Her hard work and great customer service has really made a difference in delivering a quality experience to our students and guests. Thank you, Dallas, for your commitment to the Student Union!!

PRIDE Employee of the Month- January
Congratulations to Holly Gilchrist and Tess Morrow on being chosen as the PRIDE Employees of the Month for January.
Holly Gilchrist
STAFF
I would like to nominate Holly Gilchrist for PRIDE employee of the month for her constant dedication to the Student Union Fine Arts. No matter what problem or opposition Holly might face in her job, everyday she works hard to ensure that the arts are an active and growing part of the Student Union and the Boise State University community as a whole. Holly believes that the programs such as the rotating Fine Art’s SUB and SPEC Galleries, the new Student Union Performance series, The Bronco Gallery and the many other projects she is heavily involved in, enriches the lives of the students, faculty and staff of this University and ensures that they operate at peak performance. Its not that Holly deserves this award for doing a good job at helping someone one time, she deserves this award for doing a GREAT job each and every day. Holly has set a tremendous standard for herself and her staff, and with her guidance, she has personally given numerous opportunities which have taught me to be a better employee, artist, arts advocate and overall better person. In my opinion this award is long overdue for Holly and I would love to see her be recognized for all her work.
Tess Morrow
STUDENT
I would like to nominate Tess Morrow from the Bronco Card office. She is always cheerful and approaches all tasks in a happy demeanor. She worked everyday during the winter break. She is an employee that I can trust to complete any task and is willing to learn and quickly learns new tasks. She helps with improving the processes around the office. When a student gets ill and is unable to come to work, she is always willing to come in for that shift. She handles difficult customers in a calm and pleasant manner.

You Can Now Print in the SUB
Bronco Print Station is now available in the Student Union. A station has been set up on the 2nd floor outside of the Bergquist Lounge.
The system uses the existing printing system and BroncoPrint accounts. The only difference is that users will need to print from one of the dedicated Laptop Stations to include: Student Union 2nd floor, Multi-Purpose Building MP 121, or the Library first floor.
You will need to download the printer software to print. This is only available when you are on campus, not from home. To download the appropriate BroncoPrint software for your computer, go to http://boisestate.edu/oitlabs/.
